Dr. D. John Coleman

President

Dr. D. John Coleman is a community leader, educator, author, and co-founder of ICE CDC with decades of experience in organizational and community leadership. He holds an associate degree in Business Management, a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry with an emphasis in Biblical Studies, a Master of Arts in Christian Education, and a Ph.D. in Ministry. An accomplished author of seven books, Dr. Coleman has also worked extensively in the insurance industry. He has helped lead numerous community outreach initiatives and collaborative humanitarian efforts benefiting families locally, nationally, and internationally.

Isis Nelson

Treasurer

Isis Nelson is an accomplished financial and business professional with extensive experience in credit data, project management, strategic problem-solving, process improvement, and team leadership. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago and has held progressive leadership roles with TransUnion, including responsibility for data quality, cross-functional initiatives, associate development, and complex business operations. She has also provided leadership through TransUnion’s women-focused professional development initiatives, helping advance workplace inclusion, professional growth, and opportunities for women. Her financial expertise and analytical leadership are valuable assets to ICE CDC.

Leslie Rohwedder

Assistant Treasurer
Leslie Rohwedder is a U.S. Air Force veteran and lifelong South Suburban resident with deep roots in the Chicago Heights community. His professional career represents approximately 50 years of dedicated service across manufacturing, skilled labor, and other industries. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he has invested extensively in young people through youth athletics, coaching, mentoring, and community involvement. His military service, multigenerational community experience, strong work ethic, and longstanding engagement with culturally diverse families provide ICE CDC with valuable grassroots perspective and insight into the communities it serves.

Dr. Kisia L. Coleman

Executive Director

Dr. Kisia L. Coleman is an executive leader, author, entrepreneur, and community-development strategist with decades of experience in leadership, administration, outreach, and organizational development. She holds a Master’s Degree in Ministry from Midwest Christian College & Seminary and was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Institute for Christian Works Bible College and Seminary. She is also a Certified Life & Leadership Coach, published author, and former college leadership instructor. Her accomplishments include helping secure a $9 million contract for an international women’s business, spearheading community and international outreach initiatives, developing youth and women’s empowerment programs, and building partnerships designed to expand opportunities for underserved communities.

Sarita Gray

Secretary
Sarita Gray is a healthcare and human-services professional with extensive experience serving seniors, families, and individuals navigating complex systems of care. She holds an MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix and brings more than 20 years of experience from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, where she served in roles spanning customer service, administration, healthcare coordination, analysis, and project management. Through her work with the Illinois Department on Aging, she has helped connect seniors with home-care services, meals, medical equipment, adult day programs, and other critical supports. She has also served individuals in recovery as a Recovery Coach.

Carla Bolorunduro

Assistant Secretary
Carla Bolorunduro is an accomplished social-services and child-welfare professional with extensive experience serving children, youth, families, and vulnerable populations. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Health Science with a concentration in Addiction Studies from Governors State University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development from Northern Illinois University. Her professional background spans child protection, foster care, family services, mental health, substance-use counseling, early intervention, parent education, and youth development. She currently works with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) in foster-home licensing, helping assess and license individuals seeking to become foster parents. Her expertise in child welfare, trauma, behavioral health, family systems, and community resources brings valuable insight to ICE CDC’s work with youth and families.
